Marchwood is a village that lies between Totton and Hythe on the western shore of Southampton Water, it is more known for its Military Port, Sea Mounting Centre and Recycling Centre, there is a very small parade of shops and a convenience store, a couple of pubs, The Priory and yacht marina and nearby The Pilgrim Inn pub and Hotel.
