Brockenhurst to Solihull Birmingham

A mid afternoon pickup from Brockenhurst to the Premier Inn Solihull Town Centre has been an interesting drive up, to avoid the A34 past Chieveley and M4 where there was a 45 minute delay and another 40 minute delay on M40 from the A34 slip road, it was down to using the B roads and I have to say I came across some lovely villages and despite the delays on the major roads, we actually arrived 20 minutes earlier than expected if I had stayed on the major roads.
